Can't complain about the acting pedigree, but with the emp being a major star I'm not sure which direction they'd be going for the story. My memory is fuzzy but I recall the emp who interacted with Seldon (and was manipulated by the robot) being kind of a weak man, and he wasn't featured very heavily.
I hope they do the series justice; it is easily Asimov's biggest work. It will be challenging to portray it faithfully and also keep good pacing. At least the cast so far looks honestly perfect. I...

I agree with reese though, less pleased that it's going to be on Apple TV+. Not because I don't like Apple, but because it's yet another streaming service I'll have to pay for having recently "cut the cord" from a packaged service.
