I'm not paying direct attention to kids' media, but the bits and pieces I see have a preponderance of villains using educated diction and longer (often sciency-baloneyum) words. There's enough ingrained anti-intellectualism already without programming kids to believe that nerds are always secretly plotting to abuse their advantages.
