Woke up with this sketch from 1985 television stuck in my brain for some reason and had to find it and with English subtitles - and then the interview with Sven Melander (the comedian) about how they had to prep the little kid for the sketch and set it up.
The tricky bit is the cultural thing. 1985 was just before the murder of our Prime Minister, before the wave of liberalism started privatizing everything and the coup within the Socialdemocratic party brought it in to Blairism and then of course making it less and less relevant.
So demonstrations for peace, a sort of general 70's leftism still lingered heavily and that sort of "kids want this [insert general left wing motivation like "peace"] more than anything" ideas where common and really worth poking fun at.
