Pretty disappointed with the new season of Archer. The show has been circling the drain for a while but I was hoping they would do something narratively interesting with the whole coma thing. Instead we got a forced one episode character-arc psyche-out and then basically an extension of season 1 with little connecting narrative between episodes. And this was originally supposed to be the final season.

I put a bunch of shows in the queue last week, and we're slowly making our way through them. Started the new season of Cobra Kai. It's as cheesy and fun as the previous seasons. Continuing to work through Joe Pera Talks With You and enjoying it quite a bit. Watched the first episode of How To With John Wilson. It was really good up until the last minute which really soured me on the show. I'll give the second episode a watch and if they can't redeem themselves, I'll drop it.

We've also been making our way through the latest season of Cosmos: Possible Worlds. I'm moderately disappointed in it. The topic is interesting, but this season is kind of all over the place. And its premise is about how the impending doom of climate change could cause humans to become extinct. That makes a lot of it pretty bleak, unfortunately.

re: Cosmos: Possible Worlds, yes! It was still neat, but it didn't feel as cohesive as the first season. Something also broke with CGI with the ship that made it feel... off.
