The new Captain America Falcon costume looks sweet. I really liked the focus on Sam and Bucky using their powers to save people rather than just getting into fights to emphasize their role as heroes. The fight scenes were all fun. It was kind of simple, but I thought it was well done how the show both started and ended with Sam getting into a helicopter fight to show his growth as a character.

I could see the Agent Carter reveal as the Power Broker a mile away, but it was fine.

I liked that when the Flagsmashers were beating on Walker's dinky shield it sounded like a flimsy trashcan lid.

Sam's speech at the end was pretty solid and I really liked that he got Isaiah Bradley a statue in the Captain America exhibit.

Overall, the show was a fun experience. Nothing mind-blowing but basically an extended Marvel popcorn movie. I would give it like a 7-8/10. Also give me more Daniel Brühl please.

Everything about the show is great, characters wise, except for the Flag Smashers, the GRC, and the Power Broker. The show’s plot and villains fell completely flat for me. The show feels like it...

The show feels like it needed maybe 1-2 more episodes to flesh some things out for them. Not just the villains were sacrificed, even important scenes like Bucky’s confession seemed rushed.

That was a lot. The big old fight that took up the first half was kinda hard to follow, and I'm kind of annoyed that Karli died while Walker fails upwards into whatever Lady Val is planning, while Sam gets to use talk no jitsu to convince a bunch of nationalists that nationalism is bad and it sticks.

Speculation re: Karli and Sharon Carter I wonder if Karli, having been enserumed and being taken relatively quickly to the hospital, might have survived a shot to the abdomen and is in Witness Protection because she has dirt on Carter being the Power Broker and will maybe pop up again for season 2 or the Young Avengers as Nomad. I can dream, right?
