I watched every single episode of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. This looks good but is obviously not a cartoonish 90s sitcom. I remember watching the viral video a couple years ago, an incredibly well-made "trailer" for a fake movie. I hadn't heard anything else about it until this REAL trailer came out. Apparently the show is being created as a direct result of the original fan video.
I'm not particularly interested in watching the show, but I'm very curious how that whole process played out. I hope the creators that sparked this thing receive their fair credit! Are any of them involved in the new show?
