While I agree /r/furry is probably more in-line with what tildes' goal is, I'm not really a big fan of it - I'm trash enough that degeneracy is a required part of the metaphorical balanced breakfast :P
Overall, though, i'm not sure if any of the community would be considered non-fluff, or if any of it would fit here, even though i'd like to hope so - thus far, the site seems to be more information oriented than anything.

I'm curious how many other furries (if any) have came here so far, and have a couple questions:
- Which furry communities did you participate in the most on Reddit?
- Which of those communities, if any, do you think would work well on Tildes?
Personally, I'm very partial to furry_irl, since there's a lot of friendly discussion in the comments, but I'm not sure the post content would fit very well here, unless fluff content was allowed.
To anyone confused, this and this are very brief introductions to what a furry is.

Thanks :D

I'm not sure if an anonymous identifier based on the IP/UID would be acceptable or not, and perhaps someone else knows of an alternative (This isn't really something I have had to deal with), but I don't believe there's a logless way.

That ends up being just as bad (if not worse) as tracking a user across the site, and I'd imagine it goes against the intentions of the ~ devs.

Unfortunately, I didn't really get to look at what was causing it, since I was at work when I created the thread, but hopefully it doesn't pop up again.

Aerizeon Thanks - I was going to wait until I could give specific reproduction instructions, but I'll update that one when I get home. Thanks - I was going to wait until I could give specific reproduction instructions, but I'll update that one when I get home.

Aerizeon Well, he mentions that he extends logged-in sessions to "much longer", but that doesn't seem to reflect my experience thus far, unless he means ~1hWell, he mentions that he extends logged-in sessions to "much longer", but that doesn't seem to reflect my experience thus far, unless he means ~1h

Session Timeout?
Is it just me, or is the session timeout set very short (or strictly tied to an IP)? I've had to login 3 times this morning at work, and I couldn't have been idle for more than an hour or so each...

Same - in my case, I've been watching "That time I got reincarnated as a slime" recently, which ends up being silly slime politics a lot of the time (but it's still really fun!)
