Hi everyone! Thanks for inviting me, I am shocked at how nice everyone here is. I wasn’t here for the beginning of reddit but I like to think this is what is was like back then. About me, I am a software developer, but I love plants and I love to garden. A few months ago I moved to a place with a backyard and space for gardening, as a result I just planted my first garden this past weekend! So far I have tomatoes, cucumbers, banana peppers, green beans, peas, various herbs, and flowers! Hopefully this season goes well and in a few months I will be swimming in vegetables to make plenty of salads and meals! Nice to meet all of you as well.

Cycling is such a great alternative for close-mid range transport! I cycled heavily on my college campus. I also grew up not terribly far from Carmel and its a nice city, so this doesn’t surprise me that much! I think in larger more car centric cities like LA and houston, cycling could be a really good investment for their future alongside trains of course.

Its a shame, I have been a long time reddit user, just over 9 years, and I would say 90% of my browsing is done on Apollo. Mobile apps are just a lot more intuitive for me to use and navigate, probably because I am gen z (albeit on the older end) and the majority of my time on the internet has been on my phone and through mobile apps.
