On the one hand, it's excellent that he's listening to feedback; on the other hand, going with simple proven approaches is a good way to minimize risk.

And, well... isn’t the whole argument here that what one person says in a moment of anger reflects on the group they’re part of?

BryantD Kotaku is fine; if you have a specific issue with the article, I think it's more useful to talk about specifics. The comment that got deleted was certainly extreme. The comment that got deleted was certainly extreme. On the other hand, this guy got 43 upvotes for saying he's celebrating someone losing their job. He is far from alone. It's not incorrect to characterize the subreddit as happy that she was fired.
I felt like the animation was a bit underdone -- I didn't want ornate photorealistic 3D backgrounds, but there were some places where background walls could have used just a hint of texture, and so on. I'm willing to chalk it up to the painful development process here, though -- it's hard when you have to completely change animation studios halfway through.
It's fairly different than the comic but I loved it a bunch.
