Like, for example, I've tagged this topic with "reviews", "science fiction", "animation", and "spoiler". That shows people what type of topic this is, what type of movie you're discussing, and warns people about spoilers.
Tags also make your topic more findable - especially if & when the feature for subscribing to tags gets built.
There are lots more tags in use here in ~movies. Check out some other topics to see what tags other people are using.

The Good
Nimona was overall a fun action-packed / comedy story that made excellent use of the medium of animation to show over the top expressiveness, action, and settings. The action sequences were fantastic and creative through the entire film. The art design was amazing, I loved the futuristic-medieval setting an characters. The main characters had a good amount of depth to them, and the portrayal of relationships / internal conflict were refreshingly well done. The comedy was hilarious and packed in throughout the entire runtime, probably the funniest non-comedy specific movie I’ve seen in a long time. Definitely a movie that both kids and parents could have a good time watching.
The Bad
I’d say the weakest points to me we’re some plot holes that took away from the overall strength of the movie and could have been avoided
Spoiler
Specifically the way the big recording reveal was flipped against the protagonist just felt… unexplained? Wouldn’t the recording show 2 people in the room fighting? Is the director claiming the monster impersonated her and the victim?
The plot overall was pretty predictable with villain reveals, betrayals, and sacrifices / redemption. There were a couple points where the comedy felt a bit “off” / jokes didn’t land as well.
Loved it overall, but the one thing that always bothers me is when the "discovery" of something super obvious becomes a key mechanism to drive the story forward but you could have removed that bit...

They could have more intelligently revealed Nimona's past and shaved down like 10 minutes out unnecessary fluff that did nothing but annoy.
Spoilers
When the Director shows Ambrosia the scroll and then he gets Bal to go to Nimona all angry and distrusting ranting about "is this you, are you the monster?" No shit dumbass. But also, this person saved you multiple times and nearly got caught after saving a small child. You know she's good deep down and just hates "the establishment". And yet we gotta do this cliche bullshit to squeeze out an extra 5 to 10 minutes for no particular reason?
I feel like the story would have been stronger if Nimona had gained a friend that never once had second thoughts about her or her intentions.
I love the allegories and representation the film puts front and center. Highly recommend. Feel good, if predictable, movie.

Oh wow. I read Nimona as a webcomic ages ago and bought it when the author released it as a graphic novel. I had no idea they made it into a movie.
If you get a chance to read it, the original was really good as well, though aimed at slightly older audiences than the movie - I’m guessing some of the predictability is coming from toning down and smoothing out the story.
Oh wow, I hadn’t realized this project actually came to fruition. I remember following the comic as it was released back in the day. I have to say I really (really!) wish they had stayed more true...

I have to say I really (really!) wish they had stayed more true to the illustration style, but I may have to give this a watch anyway for nostalgia’s sake.

I felt like the animation was a bit underdone -- I didn't want ornate photorealistic 3D backgrounds, but there were some places where background walls could have used just a hint of texture, and so on. I'm willing to chalk it up to the painful development process here, though -- it's hard when you have to completely change animation studios halfway through.
It's fairly different than the comic but I loved it a bunch.

I loved it, 10/10 for me. I cried when it ended.
