I'm seriously debating shorting it by making a play for the founder exit around conclusion of the lock out period. I know it's normal 30-90 days, but have you seen what it is for this IPO?

    Wild fan here.

Expectations were great to start. Sure, we had a heap of dead cap weighing us down, but we have the best prospect pool. We have a great goalie tandem with maybe the best goalie prospect maturing in the AHL.

Okay, so we've got our top D and one of our best wingers out on IR. Let's see what our prospects can do, and the rest of our team can step up.

Reality hit hard. D is piss poor, hoping that the goalie will be miraculous. It was not so. Offense couldn't keep up with our porous D and goalies. We always suspected the season would be a bust because we're trying to shed dead cap.

Then we beat the Rangers. What even is this team?

Are the girls helping you out?

This speaks to me on a personal level. I'm from the US and there's thing about when the dad is home taking care of the child. Culturally, when the dad is out without Mom and baby, they ask if Mom is home caring for the child or something like that. When the Mom is out without the child and dad, they ask "is Dad babysitting?" My wife responds "no, he's caring for our child".

My wife understood early why that question bothers me. It implies no responsibility or connection, that moms are caregivers and dads are temporary babysitters. Maybe in some cases that's true, but not ours. My wife's mother still struggles to understand that 2 years later.

Sorry for the rant. The delivery wasn't nearly as bad for me as for you, but I get your frustration.

Echo what everyone what said, if you can divert your utility sink/washer to the city sewage, definitely do so. I'll add that this will lessen the wear and tear on your sump pump, which is much harder and more expensive to replace than a utility sink pump. Best practice is to have sump pump doing nothing but pumping sump. I say this as I have a dehumidifier dumping into my sump, so I'm aware of the hypocrisy.

Washing machines have their own pump, and maybe someone else can comment on this but you might be able to pump up a floor directly from the washer to the sewage and run the utility sink separately.

One test you can do to see if it's level or not is have someone stand at the other end of the pipe on the yard from your. Pour water semi-slowly into one side (this will decrease the likelihood that a clog will mess with the result, unless you've already ruled that out). You should both see the water slowly rise, and whichever side dumps over the top first is the low side.

Have you checked for clog yet? You may be able to pass a rigid cord like weed whacker through to test. If it goes without issue, likely no clog. If it doesn't pass, maybe clog.

I'm suspicious that the end is higher than the pipe near your house. Has it ever been flowing well, or has it always been spewing like this?

If the former, and it's previously been flowing well, I suspect a clog. There are 10-20 ft snake cameras in the big online shopping site that apparently work okay for this, never tried it but I will eventually.

If it's the latter, and it's never worked well, I would suspect the outlet in the yard is higher than near the house. You would need to dig it up and relevel it, then, with the drain part lower.

I live in an area that freezes, so code requires that gap because if it's not there and the water freezes into the sump pump, bad things happen fast. That might be why.

I have a Moto G Power 2022, and my wife has G Power 2021. Both excellent phones. We are simple users. Talk, text, basic internet, music, and videos. Works fine for those, and battery life will last 2-3 days for me depending on use, similar for her.

I think it's probably less powerful processing than other phones or as high resolution, but works great for me and is very reasonably priced!

According to some other articles, they were producing COVID tests, so it's certainly plausible that they were using the mice to do quality control. I'm not sure if that's common practice or not, but it certainly is phrased in a way that implies bioweapons.

Interesting and horrifying at the same time. According to this and other articles, the company was using this lab to produce pregnancy tests and COVID-19 tests. Hanlon's razor makes it more likely that they were simply trying to avoid regulations and taxes, not trying to generate super-bugs or something nefarious.

"illegally operated since October 2022 by Wang Zhaolin of Prestige Biotech"

I've heard the Chinese rhetoric die down a lot since the early COVID days, but this definitely won't do wonders to repair relations.

Also worth noting that this was discovered July 7th, so we're unlikely to see a spike in those diseases from this, since it would have already spread by now.

I've done some looking into this. Would be great for handling and shooting practice. The price point certainly is a large barrier, though.

Interesting, I haven't noticed an issue with that. Either I have better arm strength than I would think, or I've been noticing the fatigue and just thought it was normal for the game.

I've looked into that as well. It really seemed something that would benefit my stick work, but I saw people call it gimmicky and overly expensive. Maybe I can find one on a marketplace for cheaper.

Speaking of green biscuit on a court surface, I chewed up my blade pretty good within the first week using it on my basement floor. I recently learned about a thing called a "blade wrap" and bought one online on the well known online shopping company. For some reason, it doesn't fit my stick well. That being said, it holds up well to the wear and protects my blade! Do you use a wrap or something else?

What can I do to improve at home? I've heard of golf balls for handling and passing, but do you have any specific drills that you do? I convinced my wife to get a stick and practice passing with me which has helped A LOT. What do you folks do to practice shooting? What about off ice skating drills?

Videos, diagrams, and specifics would be very helpful.

For an individual patient or generally

More personal details than I was wanting to discuss, but I'll give specifics. My wife was pregnant, we saw an OB clinic within our hospital. Midwives throughout, which I didn't mind because it was uncomplicated. Then mid third trimester, a small complication came up. They brushed it and my concerns away multiple times. I eventually requested to have a doctor involved, and they "spoke with the doctor" who refused to see us. I ended up having to call in a professional favor to get a doctor involved, and that finally got things moving. I was frustrated it took so long, but in the end it was the right thing to do because we got it addressed and the birth went relatively smoothly.

Sounds like a dream. Our system is mindbogglingly complicated indeed. It's intentionally that way to maximize insurance and corporate profits and the expense of the poor, although maybe not intentionally at their expense.

We technically don't have different clinics or hospitals for poor or rich, but it's functionally that way because the "rich clinics" won't take the government insurance (read: poor insurance). Same with hospitals. Parking costs $5/day or more. I've seen 2 EV chargers at my hospitals (I have worked at 8 locally), and those 2 were doctor-only parking. And then ER visits are ~$500 for walking in the door.
