    S.C.I.E.N.C.E was a goddamn masterpiece. I was lucky enough to catch them touring with 311 when Make Yourself came out and they did a "small clubs tour" and that still remains one of the best shows I've ever been to.

    I just cant seem to get into any of their new stuff? I think I just enjoyed the "harder" part of their musical career. Its a little to soft for me now.

    This is slightly off topic, but also related. If you'd like to hear what this album sounds like in Reggae form, check out Radiodread - Easy Star All-Stars version of OK Computer. They have done a number of reggae cover albums (Dark Side of the Moon, Sgt Peppers, Thriller) but I think this one is their best. Its not gimmicky, I promise. I saw them perform it live a number of times and its just excellent and so different from the source material.

    Cool! Just be warned..its not quite like a regular detective story but I promise you wont be able to put the book down! Tartt is just an amazing, amazing writer.

    I have two. Blood Meridian: Or the Evening of Redness in the West by Cormac McCarthy. This book is very difficult to read just based on McCarthy's style and penchant for era-appropriate language....

    This book is very difficult to read just based on McCarthy's style and penchant for era-appropriate language. It is also extremely violent - but never have I felt such a reward for completing a book. He is without a doubt one of American's greatest writers.

    1. The Secret History by Donna Tartt

    Though she ended up winning a pulitzer for The Goldfinch (another excellent book) I believe her real talent lies in The Secret History - a story about six close friends at small, elite college in Vermont and is described as an "inverted detective story" closer to a "why done it" as opposed to a "who done it" (I borrowed this description from Wikipedia but it def gives a good idea about where the book goes)

    I got stuck in Bloodborne (jesus how hard is this game) so I took a break from dying all the time to.... ....die all the time trying to 100% all of Super Meat Boy.

    Brewed with fresh Yakima Valley Hops! The bar down the street from me has a deal called a "Six Shooter" Pint of Rainier and a glass of whiskey (rotates daily) for 6$. I'd be stupid not to get that.
