Komakij LinkI got gifted Danganronpa 1, 2 and V3 recently, so I'm trying to go through those. Only finished the first one so far and just started the second one. Some of the characters are extremely eccentric...I got gifted Danganronpa 1, 2 and V3 recently, so I'm trying to go through those. Only finished the first one so far and just started the second one. Some of the characters are extremely eccentric so the series probably isn't for everybody, and I can't help but think the games would work much better purely as visual novels because the class trials can get really annoying, and I've been told by one of my friends that they get even more annoying the further into the game you get. I want to see how the stories end so I'm going to power through them anyways.

Komakij Link ParentI feel similarly regarding your take on some of the past few MTG sets. I've been playing since Onslaught, and nothing screams Magic the Gathering to me like cowboys, and cyberpunk ninjas piloting...I feel similarly regarding your take on some of the past few MTG sets. I've been playing since Onslaught, and nothing screams Magic the Gathering to me like cowboys, and cyberpunk ninjas piloting vehicles! It just feels out of place, thought admittedly I have a soft spot for New Capenna because I love tri-color sets.
What are some of your favourite sets? I am a huge fan of the first two Ravnica blocks, and I LOVE the Alara and Khans of Tarkir blocks, even if some of the mechanics and cards sucked.

Komakij LinkI don't normally read manga, I usually stick to watching anime, but I finally got my hands on volumes 1 - 15 of Yotsuba&! and I'm loving it so far. Trying not to binge it super fast so I can enjoy...I don't normally read manga, I usually stick to watching anime, but I finally got my hands on volumes 1 - 15 of Yotsuba&! and I'm loving it so far. Komakij LinkMahjong Soul has a "Balatro"-like game mode (I don't really know how else to explain it) out right now for an event. I've been addicted to it. My friends and I were talking about Balatro and how...Mahjong Soul has a "Balatro"-like game mode (I don't really know how else to explain it) out right now for an event. I've been addicted to it. My friends and I were talking about Balatro and how much we like it even though we don't play poker, so we were wondering what a mahjong version would look like. There are a couple floating around that we knew of: Ultimahjong and Aotenjo, but both ended up being incredibly disappointing. I really hope the Mahjong Soul Sky-High Ambition game mode becomes permanent. I would buy it, if that's what it takes.

Komakij LinkJust finished Persona 3 Reload after about 90 hours of gameplay, and I enjoyed every minute of it. I really like JRPGs I've been a fan of the series ever since Persona 3 FES on PS2. They did such...Just finished Persona 3 Reload after about 90 hours of gameplay, and I enjoyed every minute of it. I really like JRPGs I've been a fan of the series ever since Persona 3 FES on PS2. They did such a great job with the remake. Climbing 250+ floors of Tartarus didn't feel like a slog, the atmosphere and visuals are amazing, the soundtrack is amazing, and the story is just as good as before, except they added some extra stuff with Strega and your teammates. The remake is quite a bit easier than the original, but not so much that it was a TOTAL cakewalk.

Komakij LinkI've been playing Baldur's Gate 3. It's pretty good. I played Divinity 2 before, and I like it better so far. Divinity 2 feels less restrictive. I have 42 hours in BG3, and 106 hours in Divinity...I've been playing Baldur's Gate 3. It's pretty good. I played Divinity 2 before, and I like it better so far. Divinity 2 feels less restrictive. Komakij LinkI had read a lot of negative comments about Yuri Is My Job before watching it, but I decided to watch it anyways, and I really liked it. Most of the negative comments made me think they came from...I had read a lot of negative comments about Yuri Is My Job before watching it, but I decided to watch it anyways, and I really liked it. Most of the negative comments made me think they came from people who had only watched the first episode or two and nothing more, but I heavily disagree.

Komakij LinkI like Adventure Communist/Adventure Ages because it's essentially just pure math. It has a fair amount of ads, but they are all optional. Not the SNES game, but a tabletop game created by 4chan's /tg/ many years ago, and it was essentially created to...Sorry to be late to the discussion, but I wanted to chime in with Super Mario RPG. Not the SNES game, but a tabletop game created by 4chan's /tg/ many years ago, and it was essentially created to be a beginner tabletop RPG experience. All anybody needs is a single D6, and since the game is by default set in the Mario universe, it's very first time DM friendly too.

Komakij LinkHeart Gold/Soul Silver. Gen 1 and 2 are too classic for me to not like them, but the physical/special split is one of the best things the series has done. HG/SS is a Gen 2 remaster with a better...Heart Gold/Soul Silver. Gen 1 and 2 are too classic for me to not like them, but the physical/special split is one of the best things the series has done. HG/SS is a Gen 2 remaster with a better engine, so it takes the cake for me.

Komakij LinkI've been playing OpenRCT2 and OpenTTD for several years now, and both of them are just as fun as I remember. In terms of Romhacks, I was recently introduced to a hack of Pokemon Fire Red that is...I've been playing OpenRCT2 and OpenTTD for several years now, and both of them are just as fun as I remember.
In terms of Romhacks, I was recently introduced to a hack of Pokemon Fire Red that is essentially the same game, but it introduces the physical/special split that started in Gen 4, along with a handful of new moves, but not too many to be overwhelming, moreso just for balance purposes. It's made it slightly more interesting, but since I'm mostly only familiar with the Gen 1 and 2 pokemon, it's been great for me at least. -

Draft limited is the most enjoyable for my group of friends, but it's not really worth it to spend ~$20 on cards we use once, so we're thinking about...I begrudgingly play EDH a few times per month. I really hate this argument towards radiation exposure from x-rays. It is comparable to the chance of dying if you travel via airplane. You're right in that it's a non-zero chance for a bad outcome to occur, but the chances are incredibly low. I think it's important to put some numbers to these things: A radiation worker in the US is allowed to receive 5000 rem per year. This is considered a safe value for workers in the radiation sector. If I recall correctly, this value is 1000 rem per year for anybody not in that sector. A dental x-ray gives off 0.8 rem at worst. That means you would have to receive 1250 of the worst dental x-rays in a single year to break your yearly radiation limit, and this is in addition to the natural background radiation you are exposed to on a daily basis.
