Now I see it, it sort of doesn't affect me as much. Like that bit in the film The Labyrinth "you have no power over me". -

Believe by Ministers de la funk, with Jocelyn Brown not the original mix from back in the middle ages but a good one nevertheless. B -

Advertising to get us to buy things we don't want or need, getting us to look at little boxes so we want the thing. I don't know the word to describe this experience but it's like realising your long-standing paranoia was because the Peeping Tom you've been avoiding only wanted you to buy a new shed/car/dress/PPI/wallpaper. Once I realised that I found it much easier to ignore adverts pushed into my face.

It took several months to recreate into a suitable design that would capture the essence. I started the process in 2018, giving myself 3 years to complete around 5000 stitches.
It's the skeleton album cover of Machine Head's The Blackening album, a woodcut of 'the mirror which flatters not' https://www.britishmuseum.org/collection/object/P_1896-1230-185 fantastic piece of art and an excellent album if you like that kind of thing.
I'm hoping that I'll now have more time away from a certain doom scrolling website to actually finish it now.

Late and such a small comment to give you : think about where you'd plug your vacuum cleaner in, and place your sockets accordingly. It's a right pain in the bum to have a poorly placed socket when doing homework.
Also, consider where your family and house guests would plug in hair dryers and straighteners, near to mirrors and dressing tables. Again it's a pain when you have a short cable and no sock nearby.
