    I feel like you're hitting on something. Who cares that much about appearance? If your friends care about whether you're drinking or not to this degree then I would hesitate to call them good...

If your friends care about whether you're drinking or not to this degree then I would hesitate to call them good friends. My advice is that all nonalcoholic alcohol-like drinks are shit and just drink some tea, coffee, or y'know, whatever you damn well please.
