PerfectlyRedundant We tell people it's because my fiance's hearing isn't that great (which is true), but the biggest reason is because we snack a lot watching our shows and we can't hear over the crunching lol. I've...We tell people it's because my fiance's hearing isn't that great (which is true), but the biggest reason is because we snack a lot watching our shows and we can't hear over the crunching lol. I've also found that it helps me actually learn the names of the characters, especially if it's a fantasy or sci-fi show where conventional names aren't common.

PerfectlyRedundant I'm in the same boat. I've been on Reddit for almost 11 years and I've been sad to see it spiralling over the last however many years; it seems to be getting worse, too. I miss the small community...I'm in the same boat. I've been on Reddit for almost 11 years and I've been sad to see it spiralling over the last however many years; it seems to be getting worse, too. I miss the small community feel of it without the toxicity and overly strict moderation. As soon as RiF is gone, so am I. I'm super new here but I'm really digging what I'm seeing so far.

PerfectlyRedundant I watched The Pope's Exorcist last night. I went in with high expectations 'cause reviews were good and it looked really well done and nice and spooky. I watched it with a couple other people and...I watched The Pope's Exorcist last night. I went in with high expectations 'cause reviews were good and it looked really well done and nice and spooky. I watched it with a couple other people and we were all very underwhelmed. The acting was good (the little boy did a great job) but the general creepiness and scary/suspenseful moments were lacking. I was disappointed.

PerfectlyRedundant Agree on Barbarian! I went in blind and was pleasantly surprised. Not many horror movies freak me out while watching but that one had my heart pumping for sure.
