When someone requests 'a couple of...' I respond with something similar to: 'How many do you want specifically?', which leads to the discourse of, 'A couple is two, a few is >2, several is <x' and so on.
I agree with the first two clearly stated definitions of 'couple', but in the informal use of a couple (eg. a depiction of a quantity) is not specifically two...nor is 'a few' three. How many specifically is several..?
I understand the semantics within the conversation. But, the expectation of understanding that two, and only two, is implied in the use of the phrase 'a couple' in a request; is ambiguously stating what one party desires. I'm the asshole now, just tell me how many you want.
And now...your thoughts, please.

I assume if you can't the Obama joke, you're maybe a racist or homophobic, because a brown man can't be aesthetic...that's naive, ignorant, and now you're the butt of the joke. The woody allen joke(there's a lot to unpack and get sidetracked on) is the same self deprecating joke where MY(2nd person) suffering is paid for by the laughter.

The only drawbacks are 1: I'm a not as quick or...Been playing HyperDash VR for a few months now every few days. I'm a pretty unrefined gamer tbh, but have enjoyed the gameplay quite a bit. The only drawbacks are 1: I'm a not as quick or experienced as other users, 2: there are way too many children(7-12yrs old) playing; this is quite tiresome when there are kids literally screaming their reactions. 3: users aren't equally matched up. I get my ass kicked by those same kids @ lvl99 .
All in all though gameplay does outweigh those drawbacks. You can mute individuals or opponents, or everyone entirely. That part is great to just let you play.

My cringe about it, is its lack of structure, how slow and the crappy story is. And the kill me reference was to what I expect ramona to say, because that's what I want every time I hear this.
Your experience isn't what I expected as a response, and am glad that you did respond. I can't imagine the eye rolling garbage you've had to endure. I didn't mean to make a affront that this guy/band should stop writing and playing... it's just that I can't begin to have any appreciation for this...and it's use as a 'hold call' interlude.

Please finish me. Work has become soul draining. My s/o of 18 years seems so distant. My best feline ever is symptomatic of FLUTD/FIC & expensive. Video games don't give a tiny escape anymore. A dumbass long distance HS friend is covid+ and antivax. There's nothing on tv. I don't wanna download any shows/movies. Everyone wants to help, but I don't know what needs help.
