    I got one mission done in BLDG 21 by loading in sans loadout and just repeatedly trying to luck my way down into the basement to get it done. Rough.

    There are some missions, especially in the higher tiers of each faction, that are downright cruel and virtually unattainable for all but the most gift and dedicated players. I haven't even...

    There are some missions, especially in the higher tiers of each faction, that are downright cruel and virtually unattainable for all but the most gift and dedicated players. I haven't even attempted those, but I've found that there are a number of missions that seemed absurd upfront and then ended up being fun and doable. DMZ just strikes a great balance for me between progression, reward, and the occasional run-in with hostile or friendly players. Will be interesting to see how the new map plays because I haven't enjoyed DMZ on Ashika or Building 21.

    DMZ is a mode I didn't know I wanted, and I've really enjoyed it over recent months. That said, I'm staring down the barrel of an impending progress wipe that will reset everything, including my insured slots. I realize that seasonal resets are a common practice in extraction shooters like this but I was curious if anyone had thoughts on this mechanic and whether there might be a better way to maintain balance in a game aside from nuking everyone's progress.
