Agreed, with how far right conservatives have moved (and it doesn't matter if the voters claim to not share the radical beliefs if they're still voting for them) I don't see how it wouldn't become an important factor in choosing a life partner. Who wants to marry someone when the disagreements are about fundamental human rights instead of taxes.

I have always gravitated towards just using spreadsheets, I love the flexibility of building them up to show exactly what I want and how I want to see it. For the last couple of years I have been using Tiller and have been very happy with it. It has the backend like Mint/etc that can pull in all of your transactions/balances across all your accounts but then it dumps it into a spreadsheet (google or excel) so then you can do whatever you want with it or just use their default spreadsheets

That was basically my reaction as well. And then spent the whole time until season 2 wondering where the hell the show was going to go next!

Thanks for including the recipe you use, I'm trying to make cocktails more often at home and enjoy margaritas so I'll have to give it a try soon. I know that it is common practice, but do you know the reasoning behind pouring over fresh ice instead of using the ice from the shaker?

I'm in a similar place. I'd really like to do more woodworking and gardening but they need extra space that I just don't have. But it's fun to watch/read about them still.

I've been wanting to get into stained glass for the last year or so but classes and materials are pricey.

I'm usually more into folk/bluegrass/americana but this is a great country song, and not the terrible pop country that has dominated for the last couple decades.

I encourage you to read Brave New World by Aldous Huxley after you're done with 1984 if you haven't before. Two different ideas about a dystopian world but both very, very relevant today.

I really like The Expanse's level of "hardness", where they keep it realistic but not restrictively so.
