My wife and I sleep in separate rooms and it has been amazing for both of us in all aspects of our relationship. I also am full-time work-from-home and she doesn't work so it also gives us some needed time apart so we don't want to kill each other. We are both diagnosed autistic/ADHD so we also have sensory issues that we can better accommodate in our separate spaces. I'd even say our sex life has improved as a result.

  3. Comment on Do you think there should be more customization of user profiles on Tildes? If so, what should be added? in ~tildes

I think it would be nice to strive for any decisions made, is to make major UI changes opt-in as much as possible. Since the site doesn't have a profit-driven need to push user engagement at the cost of user experience it would be nice to see changes be a user-choice.

That would include opt-in to use the feature, and opt-in to see the impact of that feature if any additional across the site. I'm thinking perhaps I don't want to customize my profile but I do want to see others or vice-versa. Ultimately keep the base "product" clean, efficient, and driven by quality of content but allow the flexibility for those that wish to use any proposed features/changes to do so.

    Edited for clarity.
