    It is possible to use fireworks and water to extend the range though, you aren't wrong. Some of the Hermitcraft members did that early in their newest season.

    If anybody needs copper, I cleared out an entire Trial Chamber, so there are 3 double chests of stuff in community storage up for grabs!

    I can't remember how to do it off hand, but there is a way to project one layer at a time as well.

    You could also angle the fireworks to fire horizontally out into the area above the arena. Might make them more noticeable for spectators at least.

    Speaking of which, I think @mintysaurus mentioned they wanted to make a Chinese place a while back, but the food court hadn't been built yet! It's ready now!

    Edit: There is one space that has been claimed which I don't believe has a sign, but the floor is already bamboo.

    Tried my hand at DMing D&D and it was going well until the group imploded (no fault of my own though).

    This is the hardest part of being a DM, scheduling issues are inevitable. I've never played a D&D campaign through to completion, and the few games I've run have always fizzled out too. I've learned to prep less, and make campaigns short, 3-5 sessions max. Lately I've been practicing at improvising entire games with a couple of friends who are new to the game, so they don't really have any frame of reference if it doesn't go amazing, but it went pretty well all things considered.
