It's usually an interesting consideration when you trade risk of failure/cost of redundancy of the mechanical mechanisms with the limiter and cost of bringing your own fuel. I suspect that this approach is driven primarily as a test and proof of technology, and at some point later down the line it will be considered within the context of a larger trade study.
