I really wish that a civil forfeiture case regarding someone who wasn't convicted with a crime would reach the Supreme Court, so that we can hopefully get a full ban instead.

Even if the petition did get accepted, knowing the current state of the Supreme Court who knows how the actual result would turn out.
Probably just going to have to wish for a miracle to happen to get this decision overturned.

At least before the court case there was some defense against this saying that its not Microsoft's code.
But no... fucking oracle just had to butt their damned head in just to squeeze out a little more cash and mess everything up. Oracle has to be literally the worst tech company out there and that's saying something.

Just because recently they're all cozying up doesn't mean anything, they can change their mind at a drop of a hat.
Wine is getting real good nowadays, it used to be it could only run decades old programs or new ones awfully, let alone games. I wouldn't put it past them if they think they have to get rid of it.

Are you going to add an option to disable search engine indexing on user profiles like reddit has?

This would mean that Wine would be infringing on Microsoft's copyright of the Windows API and system calls. Of course it wouldn't matter until Microsoft actually does something about it. But as Wine gets better and better and its market share higher and higher, I worry that Microsoft might set their sights on Wine now that they have the law on their side.

implosio You say that, but have you even looked at Twitter? Twitter hosts far more loli art than Reddit ever did and I don't see Twitter or their advertisers freaking out.Reddit also clearly has gone corporate and no advertiser in the US wants to be on a site that possibly hosts minors or people who look like minors drawn in lewd ways.

Not stopping the women's race would be even stupider than their mistake of starting the race too early, it would be totally unfair for the other women in the race.
This has nothing to do with sexism, the biggest part of bicycle races is drafting and how being first means you hit the most air. If the lead woman could reach the men's slipstream it completely changes the racing dynamics of being in first vs following the group.
