On IOS from a security perspective I recommend 2 settings:
Settings -> Screen Time -> Content & Privacy Restrictions -> {Don't Allow on Passcode & Face ID & Accounts} *use a pin in my case
In the event of mobile loss, your iCloud account and or passcode will not be easily compromised.

Fascinating the length that world record chasers will go to get it one record. Can't say I would do that but I am an admirer of people who do, congrats Mr. Barone.

Political violence don't end well however it seems that the easy route has been taken by many people of stocking the fire of violence. Shouldn't be a surprise.

It's not a rant, it's the truth. At home I've been using Linux Mint for several years now, only have W11 box that I upgraded because of family member who is very much a RTC (resistant to change) but slowly I've introduced it to her. There is a learning curve as it comes to usage, securing linux etc., but I think that Linux mint was the right decision for myself at home - ain't going back!

I was around this area on holiday and learned something new.

Joseph Bonaparte finally settled in New Jersey under the name of the Count de Survilliers (Americans tended to call him Mr. Bonaparte)--taken from his Mortefontaine estates—in early 1817.

The thing I have done, within my own circle is to ingrain the love of reading.

The incredible part of this whole adventure is that he is married. It may have contributed to him making disastrous decisions. The article was light on that detail. Either way, he kept his dignity and a story to tell. Didn't say if he kept his shoe or not, I hope he did so he can frame it and show others what not to do because he won't learn from this experience.

In a world that continually has people whose job is to squeeze every single cent from people I agree. Ikea isn't my favorite place but if those who go find it a nice place to meet, why not.
