    Same here. At some point I realized I just spent two hours on YouTube and consumed absolutely nothing of value. Likewise, most blog posts seen on Hacker News etc. are just slop, and finding the...

    Same here. At some point I realized I just spent two hours on YouTube and consumed absolutely nothing of value. Likewise, most blog posts seen on Hacker News etc. are just slop, and finding the few good ones is not very rewarding. As of last year, I've turned towards reading books instead (and getting a good configurable eBook reader boosted this even more).

    I don't believe it. Regular filter coffee has easily 60mg/100ml (so twice as much as energy drinks) and people drink many cups of it.

    It's the book equivalent to junk food, you start reading, can't stop, and in the end you hate yourself. I stopped after the second novel.

    Casio A168WA, one level up from the F91W, has a metal wristband which doesn't break after a few years like the plastic one, and the battery easily lasts 7 years. Unbeatable price for that.

    Yes, with Gnus. My hobbyist ISP still runs a server. Most relevant action to me happens on Gmane tho, which also can be read over NNTP.
