I know that there is an ignorant self-centered minority salivating to destroy every piece of art and reality which doesn't agree with their current fad, but someone has to be the grown-up here and help everyone understand the insignificant place they occupy in the history of our civilization. Please apply to the world the same rule you apply to a bathroom: leave it at least in the same condition you found it. If possible, a little better. -

mandrake I'm right there with you, on the strategy to choose news sources. My only sources are: Associated Press News (for the headlines), Al Jazeera (for the different perspective) and The Atlantic...I'm right there with you, on the strategy to choose news sources.
My only sources are: Associated Press News (for the headlines), Al Jazeera (for the different perspective) and The Atlantic magazine (for deeper more literary journalism). But AP News is a bit saturated already so I probably will check PBS NewsHour as per your recommendation.
I'm reading The Wager, by David Grann and I'm loving it!
I'm also reading Cursed Bunny and A Good Man is Hard to Find, but because they're short story collections I'm not reading them in one fell swoop.
