It looks like they've reversed some of their content rules — like, they decided to allow nudity as long as it's not sexually explicit.
Just from the little dip into Tumblr I've had in the past couple weeks I do really like the format, I feel like if it was still as popular as it was a few years ago it could be a good alternative to reddit for me.

rgb I actually really miss the steady stream of FF14 fan art. There were a few regulars posting short webcomics to the main sub pretty frequently, and to get my fix I ended up finding them on Tumblr...I actually really miss the steady stream of FF14 fan art. If you liked Firewatch you should also check out Life Is Strange, it's a similar style of interactive novel with a really compelling plot.
A few years ago I was using a new phone and I was toying with the screen lock security settings over the first few days that I had it, and I managed to get it into a state where it was randomly unlocking in my pocket. At some point I took my phone out during my walk home and saw that I had posted a bunch of gibberish comments to a random thread in my local city's subreddit. I immediately deleted them but I still got banned a few minutes later, the mods were very understanding about it though 😂
