Don't think I've heard of them before but i quite liked them. The shoegaze influrnce is not one I've really seen implemented by many death metal bands, but i worked well.

Gave their latest album a listen and it was very much up my alley. Gonna have a listen to the rest of their discography for sure, great recommendation!

I was a little surprised not to see Agriculture on top albums/songs. I guess their new album releasing so late in the year is the reason.

I was similarly surprised to see Heretoir at the top of the song list. Although I do like them, it's not a band I've put on a whole lot of my own volition, but Spotify sure liked to put them on whenever i just let it play.

Otherwise it was pretty much what i expected.
I've been on a fairly big blackgaze/post-black kick over the last year and my wrapped definitely reflects that.

Of the bands in my top 5, if I were to recommend only one of them I'd say go give life a listen.
They only have about 16,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, but deserves way more.

The donated animals are checked by a vet beforehand to ensure they don't pose a health risk to the zoo animals.

They are also euthanised before feeding, so no live hunting going on.

They don't ask for the donations out of necessity, but instead as an alternative option for people with animals they can't take care of. By donating them to the zoo the animals will contribute to the natural cycle of life rather than going to waste.

I've been trying to get back into reading on a more regular basis lately.
I used to read a lot during my commute, but as it has been reduced from >1 hour each way to around 20 minutes I've struggled to find the time.

I'm on a good streak right now though, reading 30 minutes to an hour before bed. Currently working my way through Dune as part of a larger project of reading the sci-fi classics.

I'm about a 100 pages from the end and as expected it's been a great read so far. It also makes me appreciate the recent movie adaptations even more. The source material does not strike me as an easy adaptation, so I'm very impressed by how well they've managed to make it work.

Afsky is another new'ish band, that comes highly recommended.
It's the latest project from one af Denmarks most prominent black metal artists.

I've been using it for a couple of months and it works great. Has a neat feature of showing you the upcoming authentication code when the current is near expiration.

I was cautiously optimistic going in, but pleased to say i was very happy with the episode.
I thought it served as a good re-introduction to many of the established characters and a couple of the recurring gags.
As others have mentioned they leaned maybe a little to hard on the cancellation/reboot joke, though it didn't bother me, overall a solid first episode.

I was especially impressed by the voice work. I found pretty much all the characters sounded very close, if not spot on, to the way i remembered them. The only glaring exception being Nixon whose voice seemed to lack a little bit of "oomph".

I've been slowly working my way through the "Malazan Book of the Fallen" series.
Currently on Reaper's Gale which is book 7 out of 10, so I've still go a ways to go. I started the series after finishing the released books in ASOIAF, and it has really scratched that itch for a highly interconnected story/world with multiple PoV characters.
