I recently picked up Colony Survival. It was fun, but I've reached the point where I'm not sure if it'll hold my interest for much longer. It's been rare that I'll buy a game at full price, and this was one of them. After playing it, it seems decent enough but probably I could've waited until the next sale.

I'm not sure what to think of this. As an occasional player, I just hope that it doesn't change things around too much. The EQ series holds so many great memories for me and it being sold to a new owner feels like its future has just become more uncertain. Though, maybe it'll work out. It seems like a total unknown right now.

When there isn't a demo sometimes I'll look for gameplay video, but that really isn't the same as being able to try it out.

I use a plastic stackable shelf turned upside down sometimes to prop my laptop up and use that as a standing desk sometimes. I felt like I wasn't standing enough during the day while working from home and I didn't really wanna buy anything fancy, so it was just the first thing I found that that provided enough height to stand and work.

Maybe if I got a proper standing desk or stand it'd be easier. The setup is a little awkward and difficult to use.
