I'm not sure what to think of this. As an occasional player, I just hope that it doesn't change things around too much. The EQ series holds so many great memories for me and it being sold to a new owner feels like its future has just become more uncertain. Though, maybe it'll work out. It seems like a total unknown right now.

I have a bunch of friends still currently playing EQ, which is how I first heard about this, and they are similarly worried... especially since Daybreak has been an excellent curator of the game...

I have a bunch of friends still currently playing EQ, which is how I first heard about this, and they are similarly worried... especially since Daybreak has been an excellent curator of the game ever since they spun off from SOE, but Enad Global 7 is a bit of an unknown to them, and me, too. So we will just have to wait and see where they go with this acquisition, I guess.
