    I feel like there would have to be Bob Dylan, but deciding which verse is hard to do. The last verse in "Oh, Sister" definitely stands out because of my relationship with my own family and...

I went through a period of some distance from them and so I went through some longing for that connection.

    Definitely "Pitseleh" by Elliott Smith. I just feel like I went through this exact thing with one of my ex girlfriends. I felt from the start that I was sort of a bad influence and the relationship didn't last because of our differences. I did never mean to hurt her, but I ended up causing a lot of pain.

    So hard to pick one Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds verse but this is great. From "Albert Goes West". This just always makes me feel good about life, especially with the music behind it. It's like, hey sure we can think about stuff all day, but I'm just sitting here admiring the world and how amazing it is to be here.

    This guy is my favorite current Brazilian director and I just love his intimate style. Another of his films, Aquarius is on Netflix currently. These films are just about people, going about their lives. Minor conflicts here and there, such as humans do in life.

    And 2 German films by Christian Petzold. Barbara (2012) and Phoenix (2014) were back to back movies of his, using the same two actors to play the leads in both films. But the films are very different and it really shows the ability of the actress, I forget her name.

    The Orville Peck album is a really unique and interesting old school country album. Reminiscent of 50's Elvis in places - or Roy Orbison. Haven't heard much quite like this in modern music.

    Also in the 00's during Bush there was a huge resurgence in more political music. Just like in the 80's. Usually during a republican presidency we have a lot of musicians speaking out but not so...

    Yes, I'm totally of the mindset that it is following the Facebook path. Becomes so popular, then so lame, then falls into irrelevancy. But that takes so much time because of the popularity.
