DR. STONE! It's a post-apocalyptic survivalist anime. The earth's population is turned to stone, and after thousands of years two survivors -- two high school boys, one a muscle head and the other basically a young Rick Sanchez -- have to essentially re-build society and re-invent everything from scratch. Maybe it's only because I'm into the self-sustainability thing in general, but I love this show! The pacing and animation are already stellar. I read the first volume of the manga last year and they're definitely doing it justice with the premiere episode that aired last Friday! It's gonna be a two-cour with 24 episodes as well. I'm 10 billion percent certain it'll be a hit this season. 😸

I'm enjoying it so far but I can't stop staring at his crazy hair. Seeing that kid in a high school was bizarre.

I've been reading the visual novels for Overlord, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, and Goblin Slayer--as well as the manga for Maoyu. Usually I'd just watch the show, but I'm really starting to appreciate the little details that get scrapped for the adaptation. I'm also really impatient and want to catch up with the latest plot, so to that end I just finished Slime's WN.
