    Kinda late to this thread, but I've been reading a lot of books from people who were told they had X months to live and scrambling to figure out life. Most of these are just what were available at...

    Kinda late to this thread, but I've been reading a lot of books from people who were told they had X months to live and scrambling to figure out life.
    Most of these are just what were available at my local library but if anyone else has any suggestions for books tackling a similar topic, I'm all ears 👂

    Yes, I did cry; yes, I did have to take breaks, but I appreciate the perspective that too often do I labor under the notion that my future is guaranteed or secure (whatever that means). And, this might be a bit tendentious, but I do know I will die sometime, but I wish I could somehow discern how long I have left.

    I'm reading "The 9.9 Percent: The New Aristocracy That Is Entrenching Inequality and Warping Our Culture" by Matthew Stewart. It's really tough to read as I start to get super stressed out in every chapter about the future of this country and my own life as I start looking for a home in which to start my family. I might have to return it to the library before I can finish it because it's in such high demand! Took me 3 months to even get my hands on it after requesting, so I need to get through it somehow...
