I'm reading a book in my native language about adultery I was gifted by my wife. We live in an open relationship so it wasn't dig at me or hint. This female doctor set out to explore both sides of the story because this topic is so taboo to look at nuanced compared to how common it really is. It's a collection of stories told by both parties involved. I've been the cheater many times in the past so it's a hard read for me personally but so, so important also. This is about understanding and not condoning. The amount of stress, guilty conscience, escape, revenge, deep feelings, lying etc. involved in this is so staggering and sad we simply need to be able to talk about it some more.

An enjoyable read, but nothing mind blowing.

I also read The Big Short by Michael Lewis, some more Matthew Scudder, and am currently reading Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith by Matthew Stover.

If you haven't read any of the Star Wars novelizations, they're pretty good. They don't add a lot, but really flesh out the scenes.
