Checked the top line of books, looks like a whole lot of sign up spam will be heading your way here, if you take advantage of all of these. E.g. sign up with your email, to be sent a link to download the thing... it's just not worth it, even with a throwaway

I set up a throwaway, and will block and black hole everything after getting these.
Currently at 3741424851535559 61 emails and counting. Ridiculous. And quite some of the 'Update Preferences' links give no option to unsubscribe.
Cannot recommend using these links unless you can easily divest yourself of the consequences.
Edit: I'm unsubbing at the earliest opportunity from each sign up. I've had emails from authors after the unsub too.
Yes, use a disposable email address to be "safe". I did. Got an email about once a month from the author's email list I had to sign up for to get his book for free ( not all the authors do that )...

Once I unsubscribed from the email list I never got anything related to that again.

What is the future of human writing and there's just so much writing out there and people are reading less and less
I'm locked in to the Aeon 14 series right now, and likely will be for some time. I thought I might have been bored with it after so many books, but I'm still invested.
