    Life is full of coincidences.

I watched the TV adaptation of this book just over 8 years ago. The only problem was, I was in the middle of a severe opiate addiction and terrible breakup.

I half-watched it while either nodding out or thrashing my legs. I remembered exactly none of it except for a scene where a guy does magic on a beach. Couldn't bring myself to actually sit down and watch it all these years because I associate it with such a painful time.

Going through a painful time again now, but nothing like what it was back then. I'm healthy and I'll be okay this time. With that thought in my mind, I decided to face my discomfort and start rewatching this series a couple days ago. It's amazing and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. Definitely curious about the books and happy to see this oddly-timed news.

Thanks for letting me make this good piece of news about me for a second. More Ted Talks to come.

I can't read the article in full, but I'll be there to read it when it's released! Hopefully it won't take as long to write as the first one.

That's the thing, I usually like chonky fantasy novels too. I've also started Piranesi like 3 times to no avail. So idk what's wrong with me for these specifically.
