    As someone who moved to Texas from California halfway through high school, I can say none of this surprises me. Although, my history teacher during my junior year in Texas was pretty good at...

    As someone who moved to Texas from California halfway through high school, I can say none of this surprises me. Although, my history teacher during my junior year in Texas was pretty good at showing the uglier sides of American history.

    I have family in El Paso and I didn't think of them being in Texas until I saw a sex-ed pamphlet in the back of my uncle's car that advocated abstinence as safe sex.
