Most instructive/well made educational computer science/math videos?
What are some of your favorite videos that explain deep topics in depth?
I've recently been on a 3blue1brown binge (youtube) and am looking for more videos of that ilk. Doesn't have to be a series or a consistent uploader, one off videos are sometimes the best. Just thought I'd ask ~comp if there's anything in particular that comes to mind.
This is in part inspired by the video posted by /u/Deimos in the Technical Goals section of Tildes, titled Simplicity Matters
There's a series that teaches you how to make an 8-bit computer here. It's really interesting- I've just ordered the parts myself.
Inigo Quilez makes some great videos about using math to make computer graphics (as well as a website and a shadertoy page that are worth checking out).
I'd suggest checking out Vi Hart.
I've really enjoyed CubeDrone for some basic concepts effortlessly explained. Usually my first link I give people who ask a question on anything he's covered.
If you are interested in Linear Algebra, I found Gilbert Strang's course in MIT OCW to be pretty great: https://ocw.mit.edu/courses/mathematics/18-06-linear-algebra-spring-2010/.
This Youtube channel has lots of physics and math videos that explain the subject (some fairly advanced) in an easy to understand way.
If you just want to learn some programming languages, I find Codecademy is good for both beginners and people who already know some languages. If anyone knows other good language-learning sites, let me know! They're good to keep track of.
