I am crocheting some gifts for my niblings for Christmas! I've completed a shark and am working on an Eevee for my niece. It's her favorite Pokémon ever, and this thing is gonna be a bit bigger than I thought. I'm just using supplies I have so I don't have to buy anything new, and the close enough color I have is thicker than the pattern calls for. I'm excited to see how it turns out.
I have plans to make a little dino, two fairies, and a couple of other things I have yet to figure out. It seems a little easier this year than trying to buy a bunch of gifts. I have 8 niblings so I wanted to do some homemade stuff this year.
Oooh, once you finish please share pics of them here. I'd love to see them!
My nephew is obsessed with Pokemon too, and his favorite is also Eevee. I don't have crocheting skills though, so I just bought him a Funk Pop! Eevee, an Eevee plush, and a bunch of other related stuff (card packs, card protectors, binder, etc) for Christmas.
p.s. Appropriate username, I can see why it's her favorite. ;)
Haha, yes! I'll definitely share the finished products, I'm very excited to make this Eevee, I hope my niece enjoys it.
There's just something about the lil cutie that's appealing to everyone. Eevee is also my brother's favorite Pokémon. All of the evolutions are also so cute. It's a little crazy that they have funko pops for nearly anything you can think of. That's something I didn't expect, honestly! But it's very cute and I hope your nephew enjoys all his NEW Eevee merch!
Speaking of all Eevee's evolutions, I also just got my nephew this puzzle, which I think looks awesome, and any Eevee fan would probably appreciate. And I bought a bottle of Mod Podge Puzzle Saver too, which will hopefully allow him to hang the puzzle like a poster in his room after we are done putting it together. :)
I woke up this morning and figured I'd finally take a crack at Popcorn. I wanted to fold some ideas others had done together, but also decided it wasn't super serious, so I didn't go for the middle portion of the original track. In all, there's a worse way to spend a Saturday afternoon. I originally aimed for something a little darker and heavier, and may re-tool this, but liked what I got here. It was a fun throwaway track.
