A few friends are big into print making & the like, but I myself have never dipped my toes into those waters, until now. After starting to collaborating on some projects, I caught the idea to make a streamlined/simplified mashup of Cairn and Knave, and try to cram it all into a zine.
The goal is to be able to fit everything someone completely new to the hobby would need into a single sheet for a mini ~1 hour or so game. A fun little exercise in game design, layout design, and creative writing. P.S. if anyone has any tips on layout tools, software or otherwise, I'm all ears!

I actually built a tool to make eight-page-zine layouts, check it out at https://delphi.tools/tools/zine-imposer

Amazing! Thanks Delphi, I was actually looking for something like this. I'll probably end up using this, and let ya know how it turns out!

My album which I’ve been making for nearly 7yrs now has been creatively stalled for the past 18mo or so, so I recently impulsively signed up to a little workshop led by Daniel Lopatin (aka Oneohtrix Point Never, the acclaimed musician and film composer), whose work I enjoy, but really I was just there because of the deadlined homework it would give me, hopefully to act as a creative impetus.

It worked, and I’m so happy about it! Foregoing the need for every element to be this epic and fully realised concept has been really freeing, and I think that by just making songs for their own sake has resulted in some of the songs of which I’m more proud than anything else that I’ve made! I can’t wait to play them live. Lovely album, I’m so glad that you’re coming back to me… :)

I don't (yet) have anything to show for it. Not sure whether I want to ultimately produce a webcomic, social/political cartoons or just do commissions.

I'm proud of actually finishing a small game using Godot, even though I had to cut down tons of my original plans and had a bit less time to work on it than I thought, due to unexpected circumstances. I almost gave up midway, but decided to push through. Feels good!

It's a very short, one-or-two minute game, if anyone is interested in trying it. It's desktop only. A very basic 3D "action" game. The transfer size is 50 MB, in case that matters.

(There is a lag bug due to some particle effects that I didn't properly preload. Unfortunately I can't upload the fixed build during the game jam voting period.)

I am going to try to do some nail art! My birthday is next week and I wanted my nails nicely done but the salon I wanted to go to was booked so I said fuck it, I'll do it myself lol. I just got some gel polishes. I went with gel so it'd cure faster so hopefully that step doesn't eat up so much of my time.

I have a good friend who does a lot of really cool nail art so I asked her if she had tips and she gave me some really good advice on how to build up the layers of the image on the nails and tips for other things. So I'm looking forward to trying it out. I'm doing it on my own nails tho so I'll be starting with my right hand first so I can match the left hand better with the free hand art.

It hasn't been a lot of planning and I need to figure out what style of flower I want. However it turns out I'll be sure to share!!

I've recently aquired a semi old e-ink reader, the Sony PRS T2. Just replaced the battery and it's good as new. Now for the creative part. This reader hasn't got a backlight, so the case/cover that comes with it has a very cool and retro swivel light integrated. So I wanted to use that case, but the faux leather cover was falling to pieces... So I've unglued the cover from the plastic shell and replaced it with blue suede.
The result is pretty good (I had to redo it once as my initial tactic didn't give good result, the tldr is that it's much easier to glue then cut to size rather than measure precisely and cut before gluing.)

I also did a few pottery thing.

Does anyone know of a good ultra low effort way to share pictures? Ideally without even needing to create an account.
