The colours look fine on the image, however, I tried converting it into GIF form on both imgur and GFY cat and the colours changed ever so slightly along with some minor compression.

If you want me to give you a bit of a tutorial it's probably better to PM than create a tutorial within this comment section.
You could always post a tutorial to the sub as a new post! I'm interested in digital art, though I have no idea how I'd get my hands on Adobe products.

That's not actually a bad idea, I have a few other video tutorials that I've always wanted to show people but never really had the correct platform to do so. I guess that's what ~creative is made...

Yeah I'm going to play around with it a bit and see what I can do, I think you might be able to somehow export after effect animations into HTML5 which would make it much smoother. Will post back...

This could be used when the page is loading... oh wait, tildes never does that!

Reddit used to be like that until they added a bunch of trackers and bullshit to it. I think u/spez is the worst thing that has happened to Reddit.
My thoughts exactly
Maybe have it be the splash screen for the app?

It looks good! Do you know how to gradually reduce the animation and move them all back into place?

That's beautiful. My non-creative side is wondering how it would be used.
Loading?
Wouldn't ever get to see the animation then.
Maybe if you have notifications the favicon changes to be all animated. But every bone in my body says that animated favicons are annoying
Animated favicons lack the capacity for it to be anywhere near as smooth as OP's.
