    I was browsing random anime shows looking for new ones to watch, and the repeated obvious tropes finally got me to... well, something snapped. So I sat down and wrote this out of sheer...

    I was browsing random anime shows looking for new ones to watch, and the repeated obvious tropes finally got me to... well, something snapped. So I sat down and wrote this out of sheer frustration.

    I have no idea if it's any kind of quality, but it was pretty damned cathartic to write.

      You have to follow up where the vague orders are actually a political plot by an evil king to unite his kingdom with the neighboring territories by having their armies team up to fight the future...

      You have to follow up where the vague orders are actually a political plot by an evil king to unite his kingdom with the neighboring territories by having their armies team up to fight the future tank, that always manages to slip away without a scratch on it. Or they somehow get transported into a magical land with their super tank and have to take on a Fantasy land. Possibly both?

        My original idea was that, since they missed the plot, the bad guy actually wins. But the bad guy is now in tears because his plan was just stupid evil that was supposed to be stopped by the main...

        My original idea was that, since they missed the plot, the bad guy actually wins. But the bad guy is now in tears because his plan was just stupid evil that was supposed to be stopped by the main characters -- it's not a sustainable, workable plan so now the bad guy has basically broken the world and he's absolutely outraged that the main characters weren't there to stop him.
