    Skyscrapers with windows, reflective windows, or even plants in windowsills, are all devastating to local bird populations. There's an organisation picking up dead birds all day around central park because the deaths are endless. Big blocky buildings don't trick birds into flying into them.

    We have one of these in Kansas City, with the prominent AT&T signage on it. But it seems to have more windows than the one in Chicago and certainly more than the one in New York.
