I remember watching this a few years ago, when it first came out. I wish Art of Engineering did more videos, but they haven't uploaded anything in quite a while. I've always liked Universal parks...

I've always liked Universal parks more, but this was always my favorite ride at any Disney park. The thing that fascinated me the most about Tower of Terror is how they did the wait line videos. Using old footage of Rod Serling from an episode of The Twlight Zone and mixes it in with some redubbing and a soundalike voice actor to create essentially a new episode of the show.
The theming of the entire attraction is unparalleled. I'm in love with the cobwebby hotel lobby, the warbly old-timey jazz music, the cast member costuming, the boiler room, the 5th Dimension...

I'm in love with the cobwebby hotel lobby, the warbly old-timey jazz music, the cast member costuming, the boiler room, the 5th Dimension scene, the landscaping around the building... It's all so good! (I'm referring to the version in Florida, I haven't been to the others.)
Fun fact, the side of the tower exterior visible within Hollywood Studios is themed differently from its back side. Because the rear of the building is actually visible from certain spots in Epcot, it's camouflaged to blend in with the Morocco pavilion in the World Showcase! If there's one thing Disney imagineers have always excelled at, it's accounting for all the sightlines.
Oh yes, the theming for this ride was always top-notch. I just can't stand the ride itself. It turns out that the sensation of falling does not mix well with my everyday fear of heights.

I've also only been to the Florida one. The whole attraction just has a creepy vibe to it.
I had no idea about the back of it. That's really awesome!
Very interesting look into how one of Disneyland's most famous attractions works from behind the scenes.
