    This made me think of Jeremy Clarkson's hybrid in an episode of Top Gear, in that it was an electric car powered by diesel. This is sort of the opposite, gas cars powered by green energy, in a way.

    Maybe I missed something, but why not just focus on electricity and more floating wind farms? Aside from the obvious economic imperative, of course.

      I mean, I think it's entirely the economic imperative. Norway was not a rich country until their North Sea oil was discovered, and their oil fund is a pretty big deal as far as sovereign wealth is...
