    Several of these were built in our state (Washington) and there was some skepticism that animals wouldn't choose to use them enough to justify the cost. Data from cameras monitoring the crossings showed they worked way above expectations as animals learned to use them way faster than expected.

      Here in Alberta too, there are several of these built across the TransCanada Hwy that cuts through Banff National Park. They work and have saved a lot of animals from being killed on the highway.

      We're trying to get them built in New York and it keeps getting shot down. We have the data and the plans ready, but it keeps getting stonewalled in state government. It just sucks we need these...

      We're trying to get them built in New York and it keeps getting shot down. We have the data and the plans ready, but it keeps getting stonewalled in state government. It just sucks we need these so badly in the east cost since it is more fragmented than the west coast.

    I'm so glad this is happening, I can't wait to drive past it!! I hope they won't allow any human hiking over it.
