Kinda, I think the idea is that if you're a long term customer, you get better rates when they get older than enrolling them later in life. I'm deciding between Healthy Paws again or Embrace right now. I have a few months before I should decide. Since the rates are gonna be the same now at 7 month old vs 12 month old cat. I don't see the need to enroll her right now as a kitten.

Interested in this well. I'm due to getting per insurance for my cat Juniper. We had pet insurance through healthy paws with my last cat Batman and the insurance ended up paying like 80% of end of life care and euthanasia. Which was great, but at the end of the day emergency pet bills are expensive. I'm not going into details how much we paid, but Healthy paws paid more than we paid into the insurance since she ended up dying fairly young. Pet insurance allowed us to make decision on her care without too much financial constraint.

However Batman and my current dog is under the old plan and policy. In order to register my newest member, I would have to open another account because she would have to be enrolled in a new pet policy, which is not as comprehensive as the old plan/policy. I'm shopping around for now since end of life pet care is expensive.

Try los tacos no 1, there should be a location near times square. They have great tacos. I remember their line being long but fast.

Also I like Joju which is a banh mi vietnamese sandwich place. It might be a little over your daughter comfort zone, but unique enough to try.

Also, there should be some good bagel places near you that you can grab some bagel sandwiches. I'm on the boat that you don't toast a good bagel, only bad ones.

Oh you should take your daughters to kinokuniya nyc, which is a large japanese store by bryant park (2 to 3 avenues away from times square).

Stay away from Eli's and some of the local chains by The Metropolitan Museum. Their food is disgusting and and a waste of money.

There's the staten island ferry, but also the nyc ferry. I would actually take the East River ferry and head either down to dumbo or williamsburg for a nice trip. My favorite falafel place is in williamsburg called oasis, which is super affordable and vegan friendly.

    https://www.hario-usa.com/products/maru-chacha-kyusu-tea-pot

They have a wide stainless steel stainer that allows the tea move more freely in the pot for a more even brew.

Also see if you can find loose teas, which you can adjust how much according to your taste. I find them much better quality than bagged. I'm not a huge fan of blended teas unless it some sort of lavender chamomile blend or some sort of sick relief blend. A good company will have very simple ingredients and no sugar.

    As halftime show watcher:

Kendrick Lamar gave a good performance, but audio mixing was a little off. So far, Samuel L Jackson as Uncle Sam Heckler was honestly great and memorable bits of the show. SZA was pretty good, I wished it was a little bit more dramatic. Kendrick Lamar rapping his verse with the backup dancers as a conversation were fun little touches. Also, my favorite highlight is that the whole stadium singing "A Minor" at the end of Not like us. Drake was already decimated over the summer, and this is akin to pissing someone grave.

Some food for thought, he started the Halftime with this, "The revolution ‘bout to be televised, you picked the right time but the wrong guy.’"
The lines is pretty obvious of its political message, but I wonder how people will pick this up tomorrow.

Abortion ban is also driving obgyns and other medical professionals out of state. Which adversely affects medical care that people receieve.

As someone who is currently pregnant and in those online pregnancy groups. The level of care I receieve in a blue state is much higher than those who lives in a red state. I have more check in, and I was able to get both NT ultrasound and NIPT genetic testing done in a timely manner. Some places only offer it one or the other. I have another appointment inbetween 12 and 20 weeks scan to see how I am progressing. I'm considered a low risk pregnancy.

I met a lot of former texans in NY area and this one of the cited reason. Because OBGYNs and medical professionals are leaving, people have less access to quality care. People can pick up that up by how hard it is to make an dr appointment. (Edit: I mean people can see worsening medical care by trying to make a dr appt, wrote this at the dr office lol.)

Regarding with [1] I think generally natural area restoration would be a better fit. Permaculture, as I understand it, is the whole system approach to integrate natural system into agriculture, garden, and land management. Although, permaculture ideals might be better suited as a border between natural areas and surburban/urban areas.

Milk makes it worse for me, but I'm slowly becoming lactose intolerant. Noodles makes me a little bloated, but most carbs do.

That said, you can make friends in grad school and other transplants. I would prioritize building both support and professional network in grad school more so than the city to start. Or see if you can delay your admission for a semester or year, and apply to other schools in the meantime. That way you at least have a backup.

We didn't think we would get another cat after we had to put down our last cat earlier this year due to cancer. Nor did we think we would get one so soon. Luckily, my dog grew up with my old cat, so he was socialized with a cat. Even though he liked to chase her around and old cat did not like my dog. But they get along well enough to not worry about leaving them alone in the house. So far, I Juniper is getting along well and would sniff my dog, Monty from time to time. I'm hoping they develop a play language soon.

I'm honestly surprised how fast she adjusted. My last cat took way longer to adjust and socialized, this one was a piece of cake. All it took was a toothbrush to show her scratches were a good thing. She started to cuddle on my lap in two days, I felt blessed. Now if she can pee on her litter box on the other hand.

Interestingly, the only announcement we had is a teaser that came out a few minutes before the album dropped. Verdict is still out there.

I am revisiting Low from David Bowie which I consider one of the more experimental music since he was moving away from his addiction.

Also in the mix, I Got Heaven from Mannequin Pussy is added into my playlist. Reminds me of Courtney Love's band Hole.

Lastly, the new Amyl and the sniffer album, Cartoon Darkness, is great album to rock to. The band is reminds me of old school punk/rock sound that I missed.

To talk a bit about the tangent. The goal should restoration of natural ecological system. If natural system means forest, then yes you should plant native trees and manage the area. If a degraded land is left alone, it doesn't magically revert back to its natural state, but often in my experience invaded by invasive species or wild animals eats too much of the native seedlings which prevent regeneration. I don't know much about Denmark, but here in the states. I have seen too many disturbed areas being left alone, then taking over by invasives vines that strangle the native trees or riverbanks being degraded and eroded by knotweed. Restoration takes effort and it's not as simple as being left alone, but needs consistent management.

That said, you need money and effort to revert these farmland back to their natural state, and you need some sort of land management plan to keep both weeds and invasive species in check while promoting deserable species espicially at edge habitats.

Simply for me, when they introduce the bill or plan for national abortion ban, then my husband and I will move to the country he has dual citizenship with. It will be hard since I can only speak in elementary school level, but hardship is better than death.

There are countries that has digital nomad visas, those might be a good options for people who want to try living abroad. Or might need short term medical care or need to flee for their safety. Although many countries, locals are a little hostile to them due to gentrification/unaffordable housing and such. Also this is a short term solution, not a permanent one.

PS. I'm not willing to have a political debate, just offering some advice who one reason or another might need to leave their countries. Note that I'm first generation immigrant.
