It's sad to see these people losing their ease of access to the ocean along with their way of life. They're being transplanted to a dirt patch freshly clear cut out of the forest. I hope there is a governmental organization tasked with providing the essentials: schooling, access to food, and probably some education on farming. They'll undoubtedly need some assistance from NGOs as well.

In addition to gov/NGO assistance, I wonder if partnering with a long-established nearby community in a similar landscape might also help the traditional knowledge transfer, like helpful living habits, safe practices (stuff like foraging, animals, diseases, sanitation), even land-based recreation.
