I hadn't checked my ceiling fan's rotation direction since we'd moved into our apartment two years ago. I didn't know why our bedroom was so cool and the living room so hot. Then two weeks ago I flipped the living room ceiling fan to counter-clockwise and viola-- SO MUCH COOLER.
Should've dusted it off first though, the dust bunnies flew everywhere :(
