    Great news. It's both disheartening and not surprising in the least that only about half of the eligible voters participated. I think Amazon can afford to pay their workers a bit more.

    The weird part is each building in a complex has to do it separately, or all come together to do it at once I guess? I like seeing this happen, because these easily abused "unskilled" but...

    I like seeing this happen, because these easily abused "unskilled" but essential jobs need more protections, and even measures to ensure there will be people who will do them, and be protected enough to do them well

      I was wondering about that. At first I thought maybe it's easier to win the elections if they start small so the union can focus their energy on one location? But then I realized that it was individual buildings, not even an entire complex.

      At some point maybe there's enough critical mass that they can call for a broader facility-wide election? Then maybe a national one?
